Prior to joining Goldman & Partners Immigration Law in January 2023, Gillian worked for five years as an immigration paralegal and legal operations specialist at a boutique firm in Boston. Gillian specializes in employment-based immigration. She has experience working with a variety of clients, including individuals, small and multinational companies, prominent academic and medical institutions, and nonprofits.
Having worked as Assistant Director of the International Students and Scholars Office at a Boston-based university, Gillian has an extensive international education background focusing on international student advising, immigration advocacy, and international student program development.
She lived in China for several years teaching English and working for an international education start-up.
Gillian has a Master of Arts degree in Teaching Chinese from Brandeis University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Asian Studies from Mount Holyoke College.
